John Fox is the founder and force behind John Fox Design. John has made his impact in the floral industry by defying the rules, creating styled and unique designs and ensuring complete client satisfaction. During his 12 years of experience in the world of floristry and design, his passion for floral goes beyond the stem and often enters into a world of event and atmosphere design. Having fun and challenging his own imagination is what makes John a leading floral designer.

A little more about John…
John Fox has lived in the Field Club Historic District in Omaha, Nebraska for over a decade. John was born in New York City, NY and spent most of his later youth growing up in Missouri. John graduated from Missouri Western State University with his bachelor’s degree in psychology & political science. John continued his education, received his master’s degree in psychology and is a proud alumnus of Park University in Parkville, MO. During college, John started his first small business that specialized in outdoor plants, plant design, light landscape design work in Saint Joseph, MO. He fell in love with plant life! In 2011, John was introduced to Rob Houp, the owner of Village Flowers in Saint Joseph, MO. Rob was/is one of the most respected floral designers in Missouri. He taught John the basics of floral design and mentored him through the early stages of his design career.
John’s husband is the wonderful Jeff Fox. One of the perks of JFD is getting to know Jeff. He is a Navy veteran and is originally from Nebraska. Jeff and John have been married since 2016, in a relationship for over ten years. Jeff has worked in the commercial insulation industry for twenty-five years in sales/management. Jeff and John have two chihuahuas Kai and Mila, and a beautiful Russian blue kitty, Niko. Their happy place is the island of Puerto Rico. If you have the chance, go!
In John’s free time he loves helping friends that are running for political office, volunteering with organizations, working in his small but mighty urban backyard, enjoying the most fabulous food, entertainment, events and friends Omaha has to offer.
